White Spirea.

I have one on either side of my house.
They were planted when the house was built...50 years ago.
They have withstood all manner of bad weather..stormy,cold, heat and snow.
And they are still strong and beautiful today.
As children of God, we may do the same...if our roots are deep in Him.
The One who created the universe.

Old jars and glasses

An old jelly jar.

This will be good for my soy container candles.

They had been sitting in a box for I don't know how long.
I painted flowers on them, and gave them a new and different life.
Flowers are a good thing...anywhere, any time!

Vinca

I have a couple of pots of Trailing Vinca.

I brought these cuttings inside , hoping they will  grow new roots.

My Mom could grow flowers in any kind of condition.

After she became unable to work outside, she had flowers on the porch,

and in the house.

In the Springtime she is always on my mind, now is when she was getting her

plantings ready to put in the soil.

Up in Heaven, somewhere there is a flower garden, and Mama is busy!

Chickens

I grew up on a mountain farm...my Mom always had chickens.

My Grandson seems to have inherited the farming gene.

He has chickens...only three  for now, but more on the way.

They are so white and healthy looking, and they lay beautiful brown eggs.

There is one red one,but  she doesn't show up too well in this picture.

The new ones will lay blue,green and maybe pink eggs.

There are lots of different breeds of chickens, and raising them has become popular in our area.

Brayden calls them his pets.
