Family Bible

This old Bible belonged to my Dad..it lay on the couch in our home as long as I remember. It is well worn and well read.And full of his and Mama's handwritten notes.

On holidays, I get it out.

Sometimes, I carry it to church with me.

Such a precious memory to my soul.

Wreath

I have had this wreath for years.

Today was "makeover" day for it.

I added some shiny new Christmas balls...and glitter.

The picture doesn't show too well, but it is all very sparkly.

I am a firm believer in putting glitter on everything if possible!!

Now I have a new wreath..hanging on the front door.

Bare and Beautiful

I am a summertime person,

The bare limbs on the trees look kind of sad to me.

But then I see the beautiful, colorful poinsettias of the Christmas season.
